Surprise open sports leagues ready for all

The City of Surprise Parks & Recreation Department is now accepting team registrations for Summer Adult Co-Ed and Men’s Softball League Divisions; Co-Ed and Women’s Kickball; Adult Basketball; and Co-Ed Indoor Volleyball.
Registration is open to non-returning and new teams and has been since May 18 online, over the phone or at the Parks and Recreation Office, 15960 N. Bullard Ave.
Players must register as a team – minimum number of players are listed on registration page.
Leagues offered are:
Adult Co-Ed and Men’s Softball
Played at Dick McComb Park – 17894 W. Park Blvd. Team Registration Fee: $450 League Nights: Men’s Tuesday; Men’s Thursday; Coed Friday and Coed Sunday Leagues Begin:Week of June 20 League Format: Double headers and a single elimination tournament. Team Limit: 8 teams per division
Adult Basketball
Played at Villanueva Recreation Center – 15660 N. Hollyhock St. Team Registration Fee: $400 League Night: Tuesday and Thursday (new) Season Begins:Tuesday, June 28 League Format: A game per week and a single elimination tournament. Team Limit: 8 teams per league night
Co-Ed Kickball
Played at Marley Park, City Park – 15126 W. Sweetwater Ave., and/or Dick McComb Park – 17894 W. Park Blvd.
Team Registration Fee: $150 League Night: Saturday Season Begins:Saturday, June 4 League Format: Double-headers and a single elimination tournament. Team Limit: 6 teams.
Women’s Kickball
Played at Marley Park, City Park – 15126 W. Sweetwater Ave., and/or Dick McComb Park – 17894 W. Park Blvd. Team Registration Fee: $150 League Night: Saturday Season Begins:Saturday, June 4 League Format: Double-headers and a single elimination tournament. Team Limit: 6 teams
Co-Ed Indoor Volleyball
Played at Faith Arena, Ottawa University – 14440 W. Tierra Buena Lane. Team Registration Fee: $175 League Night: Sunday Season Begins:Sunday, July 10 League Format: One match will consist of best 2 of 3 games, one match per week and a single elimination tournament. Team Limit: 8 teams
