The Arizona School of Real Estate & Business hosts The Journal Industry Awards every year where individuals are nominated in 12 different categories.

Surprise resident Mark Field was selected as the winner of the Journal Industry Award Mortgage Loan Originator of the Year after being nominated by Christine Gannon.

Gannon’s nomination says, “I wish to nominate Mark Field for the Mortgage Loan Officer of the Year.”
As Arizona Representative to the U.S. Veterans Administration and working with City of Phoenix Mayor for the Veterans Economic Communities Infinitive, I have seen first hand the impact the Mark Field has had on the entire Arizona community, especially in rural and Native American reservations. We have worked together on job development, veterans issues, suicide prevention, homeless veterans, affordable housing and promoting Arizona. The VA Director has said that Mark Field was a ‘breath of fresh air’ for his support to the US Veterans Administration and the veterans that have served our country.

Mark Field is a 23-year mortgage professional who has done more for the Arizona community than anyone I know, both in government and in the mortgage community. Mark Field is a U.S. Navy Submarine veteran and works with many veterans and disabled veterans for their mortgages.

Mark Field is working with Senator’s Sinema, Senator Kelly and Congressman Gallego for a VA Home Loan Modernization Act that will impact veterans all over the United States of America. They are also working with Senator McFarland’s family, who was the Father of the GI Bill.

Mark Field writes Financial Fraud and Scams articles in the National Veterans M Jay Gustafson,agazine, City Sun Times, Independent Newspapers and others to help educate homeowners. In addition, he launched a Gambling Addiction Prevention page to show the true cost to the person, to the family and to the community. Gambling addiction leads to divorce, foreclosure, bankruptcy and suicides. Mark has spoken to many school children and homeless veterans on understanding financial issues, credit issues and recovering from past credit issues. The Arizona Senate presented two Proclamations for Mark Field for his Community Service to the State of Arizona.

Based on these accomplishments that have had a tremendous impact to the State of Arizona, I wish to nominate Mark Field for the Mortgage Loan Officer of the Year.”

Field also thanked Bill and Jennifer Voss, Kim Schluter, Jay Gustafson and Scott Gallagher for sending testimonials which helped lead to his award.

The Arizona School of Real Estate & Business skipped an in person celebration last November due to the coronavirus. The group will open up nominations for 2021 in November and plans to celebrate in person all of the 2020 and 2021 nominees and winners in March 2022.
