The Asante Library is hosting a new art workshop, called “Expressions in Full Bloom.”

It is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 26 at 16755 W. Vereda Solana Drive.

Join city staff in a creative experience where emotions and ideas blossom into beautiful works of art.

In “Expressions in Full Bloom” attendees will create unique pieces of art that represent an inner bloom — whether it’s a feeling, an idea or a meaningful experience.

Guided by Art Facilitator Tiesha Harrison, attendees will explore vibrant colors and simple techniques in a fun, relaxed environment.

Enjoy live music by Rosewax Vinyl Club and a live performance while contributing to a special project to be showcased at Asante Library in the fall.

No art experience is required, and it’s open to all ages (youth must be accompanied by an adult).
