The Surprise Library system is hosting a free Cookbook Club each month where people use a cookbook to make a recipe for each month’s them and bring it in for others to taste.

Surprise hosting Cookbook Club to taste new creations

The Surprise Library system is hosting a free Cookbook Club each month where people use a cookbook to make a recipe for each month’s them and bring it in for others to taste.

The next session is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 19 at Surprise Senior Center, 15832 N. Hollyhock St. April’s theme is deserts.

Attendees will discuss what they liked about that month’s theme and the recipes. Cookbooks will be held at the Hollyhock Library for check out.
