Surprise delays Bell Road palm tree trimming

The start date for the maintenance of the palm trees within Surprise’s Bell Road medians has been delayed until next week.

Work was expected to start this week but has been changed to overnight hours Aug. 8-19, city officials announced.

Temporary inside lane restrictions are expected between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.

They will be moving restrictions as crews work from Grand Avenue to the western city limits.
