The Surprise City Council has canceled its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 19 because of a conflict with the League of Arizona Cities and Towns’ annual conference.
The council also won’t have meetings in July as part of its annual summer break.
Regular meetings are typically held at 6 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at City Hall, 16000 N. Civic Center Plaza.
Work sessions usually come before the regular meeting, starting anywhere between 4 and 5 p.m.
