Surprise continues winter sports registration

Early sign up available through Nov. 18

The City of Surprise Parks & Recreation Department is set to take registrations for Winter Youth Sports, including Jr. Suns Basketball, Kickball and NFL Flag Football Leagues, as well as Camps and Skills Classes. Registration runs until Nov. 18.

Late registration begins Nov. 21.  

Jr. Suns Basketball, Kickball and NFL Flag Football Leagues
Recreational leagues for boys and girls ages 4-17. The winter season starts in early January and runs until the end of February. Most games are played on Saturdays with the possibility of one or two weeknight games.

Practice times are up to the volunteer coach, usually one evening for onehour a week. Age determined on or before Feb. 28.

 Sports Skills Classes, Clinics and Camps
Surprise is offering a variety of skills classes and clinics for ages 6-15. Baseball, softball, volleyball, basketball skills classes, clinics and 3-4 day camps will be offered November-February.
