Surprise city offices to close for Thanksgiving holiday
Trash collection, libraries also affected

Surprise administrative offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23 and Friday, Nov. 24, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Some services, programs and facilities will have modified hours for the holiday.
City of Surprise trash customers will be on a modified trash collection schedule that week that will postpone collection by one day. There will be no service on Nov. 23. Collection will resume on Nov. 24.
To receive weekly reminders about your pickup schedule, including holiday weeks, sign up to receive texts or emails on the MySurprise App. The app is available in both the Apple and Android app stores or online at surpriseaz.gov/mysurprise.
Note that not all Surprise residents are city of Surprise sanitation customers and may not experience a change in pickup service. Check with your service provider.

All three City of Surprise libraries will be closed Nov. 23 and 24.
There will be no programs, classes or camps Nov. 23 through 26.
The Surprise Aquatic Center will be closed on Nov. 23.
Adult Volleyball games will not be played on Sunday, Nov. 26.
Open Gym will still be available at Villanueva and Countryside Recreation Centers Nov. 24 through 26.
The Surprise Tennis and Racket Center will be closed for Thanksgiving; further holiday hours are listed at surpriseaz.gov/Tennis
