Surprise-based Benevilla maintains 4-star rating
Charity Navigator awards nonprofit for 2nd straight year
Posted
West Valley nonprofit Benevilla announced earlier this month that it achieved a 4-Star rating from Charity Navigator for the second year in a row — showcasing its commitment to non-profit transparency, strong financial health, and commitment to accountability.
Only 33% of the charities evaluated by Charity Navigator have received at least two consecutive 4-star evaluations. This designation from Charity Navigator sets Benevilla apart from its peers and demonstrates to the public its trustworthiness. It is the highest possible rating indicating Benevilla adheres to sector best practices and executes its mission in a financially efficient way.
“We continue to work very hard to publicly promote our progress with our mission and vision in our community,” stated Joanne Thomson, Benevilla president and CEO. “It’s all about transparency. As a Charity Navigator participant, we welcome the opportunity to share a wealth of up-to-date financial information about our work in the community, which hopefully will provide our donors more confidence in supporting our mission.”
The overview of Benevilla’s financial health and commitment to accountability & transparency is available on the Charity Navigator website at: https://www.charitynavigator.org.
With more than 1.5 million American charities, Charity Navigator, is a leading source of nonprofit information aiming to accentuate the work of efficient and transparent organizations. The mission of Charity Navigator is to provide potential donors with essential information to give them greater confidence in both the charitable decisions they make and the nonprofit sector.
Forbes, Business Week, and Kiplinger’s Financial Magazine, among others, have profiled and celebrated the unique method of applying data-driven analysis to the charitable sector used by Charity Navigator.
They evaluate ten times more charities than their nearest competitor and currently attract more visitors to our website than all other charity rating groups combined, thus making them the leading charity evaluator in America.
