Surprise artist exhibits work at Studio Tour
Posted
Marley Park resident Dan Romero will exhibit his bronze sculptures at the 2019 Hidden in the Hills 23th Annual Artist Studio Tour Nov. 22, 23 and 24 and Nov. 29, 30 and Dec. 1 at Studio 13 in North Scottsdale. This studio tour has 47 studios and 199 artists and promises to be one of the best studio tours ever.
Retiring from the motion pictures business in Los Angeles after 43 years, Mr. Romero started sculpting a little more than four years ago when working on a film in San Francisco. Self-taught, his sculptures display a sense of movement in an otherwise solid piece of bronze.
He has created an array of sculptures, with exhibits in Laguna Beach, Surprise, Scottsdale, Carefree, Cave Creek and Dillion, Colorado. His works are in private collections in California, Arizona and Colorado.
