Ground Floor Artists announced its upcoming exhibition, “Chasing Light,” opening on Friday, June 5 and running through July 27.

This captivating show at 13343 W. Foxfire Drive explores the essence of light and shadow, showcasing diverse artistic interpretations of this dynamic interplay.

“Chasing Light” features works by 17 talented artists, encompassing a variety of media, including paintings, mixed media, photography, and 3D works.

Visitors can expected to be captivated by the fleeting brilliance captured by the plein air painter and photographer, contrasted with the meticulous rendering of reflected light by the still life artist. The 3D artist joins the conversation, revealing the relationships between form, texture, and the dramatic contrast of light and dark.

Each artist’s unique perspective promises a captivating journey through the world of illumination and shadow.

Join the artists and celebrate the exhibition at the opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 14.

Featured artists are Marilyn Bealafeld, Rebecca Chen, Constance Deluca, Cynthia Dunn-Selph, Barry Farmer, Alfie Guadarrama, Haley Hansen, Igor Kogan, Julia Letcher, Miki Lovett, Ellie Mendre, Elizabeth Moore, Darlene Ritter, Maria Rivas, Sarah Simmerman, Judith Visker and Reid Woodward.

Regular exhibit hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.
