The city of Surprise Parks and Recreation Department will offer a single combined fall season to include youth soccer, tee-ball, baseball, softball, volleyball and tennis leagues.
Registration for the city’s 2020 fall sports season will continue through Saturday, Aug. 1. Late registration starts Monday, Aug. 3.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, the city is implementing health and safety guidelines regarding proper distancing, sanitizing, and scheduling.
This will be the sole fall season, as opposed to the dual seasons of past years. Additionally, flag football has been rescheduled and will run during the winter season (January-March).
These dates are tentative and subject to change or cancellation.
• Youth soccer, Tee-ball, baseball, softball and volleyball league: Recreational leagues for boys and girls ages 4-17. The fall season starts in early September and runs until early November. Games are played on Saturdays and/or weeknights. Practice times are up to the volunteer coach, usually one hour, once a week (5:30, 6:30 or 7:30 p.m.). Age determined on or before Nov. 30. For details, visit surpriseaz.gov/248/Youth-Sports.
