Salvation Army in Surprise seeks school supplies

Locally-based branch lists items of need

The Salvation Army North West Valley Corps is having a Back to School supply drive for the kids in the region that are going back to school this fall.

The Surprise-based branch needs the help of the community by donating school supplies such as:

• Backpacks
• 3-ring binders
• Calculators
• Pens
• Erasers
• Colored pencils
• Composition books
• Loose leaf paper
• Markers
• Sharpies
• Rulers
• Highlighters
• Paper folders
• Pencils
• Notebooks
• Crayons

Those wishing to donate are asked to bring all school supplies to
The Salvation Army, North West Valley Corps at 17420 N. Avenue of the Arts, Surprise.

Donations are accepted from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. weekdays.

When wanting to donate, ask for Fred Folden or call 714-420-9886. For any questions or ideas, respond to an email or call.

The Salvation Army North West Valley Corps serves the community around it and needs help to give as many kids the school supplies as they deserve.
