Posted

Rosa, 93 years old, December 20, 2019, Sun City, AZ. Rosa Lee Ruth Miller was born on October 2, 1926 the next youngest of four children with elder brothers and sister Daniel, Raymond, Margaret and younger brother Keith to parents Charles Miller and Marie Wallace.

Rosa Lee grew up on a farm near Sprague, WA. After graduating from Sprague High School, she continued her education at The University of Washington and Kinman Business School. She spent the majority of her working career of 30+ years with I.D.S. / Ameriprise Financial Services office in downtown Spokane. Rosa Lee survived husbands Howard Wunsch and James Anderson. Son Derek Wunsch was born in 1959 while living in the Spokane Valley. Rosa Lee often spoke lovingly of simultaneously working full time and raising Derek mostly on her own, including attendance at most if not all of his high school and college football games.

Rosa Lee was able to retire in 1991 and enjoy some quality time traveling the world and bird watching with her late husband Dale Litzenberger while living in Burbank, WA along the scenic Snake River. She and Dale moved to Sun City, AZ in 2006, where she enjoyed helping manage the Condo Association, visiting with the Library Gals, the water aerobics gang and the computer club at the Rec Centers.

Rosa Lee passed away on December 20, 2019 and is survived by her son, Derek Wunsch, six nieces, and nephews.
