City of Surprise administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Feb. 17 in observance of Presidents’ Day.

Some programs and facilities will have modified hours for the holiday and are outlined below:

Surprise trash customers only are reminded there will be a modified trash collection schedule that week that will postpone collection by one day.

There will be no service on Monday. Collections will resume on Tuesday, Feb. 18.

Note that not all Surprise residents are city of Surprise sanitation customers and may not experience a change in pickup service. Check with all service providers.

All three Surprise libraries will have modified hours for the holiday. Surprise Regional and Asante Libraries will be open from  9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hollyhock will be open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

WeRIDE will not run on Monday, Feb. 17. Service will resume at 6 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18.

Parks and Recreation programming at city locations will proceed as planned.

Review all program schedules to confirm whether an activity is scheduled for the holiday.
