One Step Beyond raised $350,000 at its annual Help Us Grow Gala to support the organization’s programs, which include life skills, employment, recreation, fine arts, and other essential services at five campuses across the Valley.
The HUG Gala was held at OnJackson in Phoenix and featured a dinner catered by the One Step Beyond Catering Program, uplifting presentations showcasing the organization’s programs, a live auction and more emceed by Simone Cuccurullo, anchor of Arizona’s Family Good Morning Arizona.
One Step Beyond is a provider of comprehensive programs and services for adults with intellectual disabilities.
“One Step Beyond exists to serve the community and lift barriers to provide the necessary access and inclusive opportunities that adults with disabilities deserve,” said One Step Beyond CEO Madison Blanton. “The funds raised at our HUG Gala provide direct support to our programs and we are grateful for the everyday advocates who join us in support of creating more inclusive communities.”
One Step Beyond also presented the annual HUG Award to two Scottsdale residents, Anna Sepic of LevRose and Tyler Smith of Kidder Mathews, for their advocacy and work to positively uplift the disability community.
