The American Association of University Women (AAUW), Northwest Valley branch, recently hosted its June Summer Survivor Breakfast at Tivoli Gardens in SUn City West.

Some of the past presidents attended two-time president and hostess for the breakfast, Mary Jo Blum, Judy Hodgins, Judy Neigoff, Sharon Astle and Ann Mitchell. Other pictures show some of the members and guests attending.

The July Summer Survivor luncheon is at Chef Peter’s in Sun Village. The AAUW promotes equity and education for women and girls. Since its founding in 1881, AAUW members have examined and taken positions on the fundamental issues of the day-education, social, economic and political.

Membership is open to anyone holding an associate’s degree, bachelor’s or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Contact Cindy Ferguson at 774-284-0471 or cynferg410@yahoo.com.
