A neighborhood meeting scheduled for Wednesday, June 23 regarding a major general plan amendment request for the northeast corner of 163rd and Grand avenues has been canceled and will be rescheduled at a date to be determined.

The meeting was to be held by Beus Gilbert McGroder PLLC on behalf of The Land Agency. This was for Surprise Planning Case FS21-257: Major Amendment to the General Plan 2035, changing the Land Use Character Area of approximately 190 acres from ‘Commerce & Office’ to ‘Neighborhood’ to allow for residential development.

When determined, the new meeting date will be posted on signage at the site and on the city’s website calendar at surpriseaz.gov.
