The Surprise Regional Library will be closed Friday, March 24 through Sunday, March 26 because of the inaugural Bases and Brews Music Festival.
The Surprise Regional Library, 16089 N. Bullard Ave., is formerly the Northwest Regional Library.
Residents can still visit Hollyhock or Asante libraries to return materials, use the computers and pick up holds.
Those who plan to pick up a hold this weekend should transfer it to Hollyhock or Asante library.
Hollyhock is at 15844 N. Hollyhock St., and Asante is at 16763 W. Vereda Solana Drive.
To request a transfer, send an email to library@surpriseaz.gov by Thursday, March 23 with your name and name of the library from which you would like to pick up your hold.
The Surprise Public Library System also announced the return of curbside pickup at all three libraries.
Simply pull into a parking space with the "Curbside Pickup" sign, call the number on the sign and a library team member will bring your materials out.
This will begin March 24 at Hollyhock and Asante libraries and on Monday, March 27 at the Surprise Regional Library.
