Letters: Vista brings entertainment but needs fixes that will help

Having read the article “Vista study shows future hope” in the Surprise Independent newspaper (Jan. 22), I wanted to commend your combined efforts to make The Vista Center for the Arts an entertainment location option between Phoenix and Wickenburg.
I have volunteered for the last three years and have thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment values there.
Your printed suggestions are spot on (i.e., enlarging the women’s restroom and making more parking for handicapped drivers).
Another issue I witnessed is the height of the curb which is difficult for seniors to scale over in wheelchairs and walkers. There is a crosswalk but the curb needs to be removed for those with limited walking skills.
