Letters: Norberg is right man for job in growing city

Posted

We need leadership on the City Council that brings foresight to the future of Surprise. Greg Norberg is the best man for that job.

He’s focused on the future of Surprise. I have friends who moved to Surprise but opened their business in Peoria because it was easier.

Greg sees that the process needs to change because if we don’t make it easier for business here, people will keep going to other cities instead of Surprise.  Other cities will keep getting the business we need and take our tax dollars with them.

He understands that we need to rebrand our city so we’re not known as just a retirement community. City Council has yet to tackle this issue, which is probably why we ended up with a retirement community right next to our university in our downtown.

Clearly, we have not been unable to attract the shops or business entities needed for us and our youth or the restaurants we really need.

Greg Norberg is the right man for the job. He’s passionate about our city and understands that we should be a priority. I appreciate that about him and will absolutely be voting for Greg Norberg for City Council District 3.

I hope you will as well.
