Letters: Mountain Vista Ranch street plan too rushed

Posted

Thank you for your story [“Street Fight:” Levy trying to stop access,” July 7]. It is my feeling that those representing us in Surprise have rushed this without enough information given to those living in Mountain Vista.

The impact on our property values, the density of people, the “policing needs” (a garbage rationale if anyone really listens to it all smell) are all topics of concern. I wonder if the “elected individuals” represent those who elected them. I am beginning to think they are more interested in the desires of the developer.

I was active in getting Sharon Wolcott elected as mayor. We talked about a possible forensic audit about the mismanagement of money in the building of City Hall. All for what? The audit was never done and the conversation was just another politician “baby kissing” blabbing.

I think if you really dug deep into those living near by, they have no clue what the “bungalows” mean.

I think it’s time to rethink who represents us. It is time to hold those politicians to their historical voting record and the multitude of misrepresentations that they provide us with.
