Letters: DEI helps allow people to become empathetic to others

My feeling is that believing in DEI basically makes one empathetic to all people.

I believe an effective DEI policy communicates an organization’s commitment to creating a workplace culture that encourages and celebrates differences while striving for fairness and equality.

Our President’s attempt at elimination of DEI throughout the federal, state and private organizations is so misguided and an over-reach of the executive branch of our government.
