Dysart schools are now enrolling for free, full day Kindergarten. Schools will begin remotely on Tuesday, Aug. 4 at all of the 20 elementary schools and will have enhanced cleaning protocols once school resumes in person, when allowable.
As of now, the district plans to resume in-person classes to begin the second quarter.
The Dysart kindergarten program follows Arizona state standards, and offers real-life activities in the areas of cognitive, social, emotional and physical development. Enroll a student at dysart.org/register.
In other news from DUSD:
In spring of this year, the district participated in the Wellness Council of Arizona Get Moving! 2020 Virtual Step Challenge.
DUSD placed second in the Traveling Trophy Division with a step count average of 435,066 and also placed first in the Top 20 Participant Division with a step count average of 707,353.
The step challenge is one of many wellness initiatives for Dysart employees to enhance their individual health, productivity and well-being.
