I am incredibly grateful and humbled to serve as your mayor and what an incredible first month in office. As we move into February, there are new opportunities to strengthen our community and build on our momentum. Strong communities don’t happen by chance, they’re built with vision, strategy and a commitment to progress. This month, the City Council and I will complete our Strategic Plan, setting priorities that will shape the future of Surprise. Our collaboration will help determine how to best serve our residents by focusing on what matters most. From public safety and infrastructure to economic growth and quality of life, our strategic plan will guide us through the upcoming budget process, ensuring every dollar is allocated for the greatest good. Your voice matters and together, we can and will make Surprise a city we are all proud of.
