Posted
Imagine Prep School teachers Mrs. Lowell and Ms. Werner recently ran the charter school’s annual food drive.
The grades 6-12 school in Surprise nearly tripled its total from last year to a 3,043 food items (1,072 items). This translated to 2,371 pounds of food.
This was Imagine Prep Surprise’s seventh annual We Scare Hunger “Stuff the Bus” food drive.
The school congratulates Ms. Kelley’s middle school class and Ms. Becker’s high school class for bringing in the most items per student.
The sixth grade brought in the most items in middle school and to the 12th grade brought in the most items in high school.
All rewards were distributed Nov. 3. The $2 dress down helped support the honor societies with the Thanksgiving Meal boxes.
