The Gatlin Brothers return to the Del E. Webb Center for the Performing Arts in Wickenburg, 1090 S. Vulture Mine Road, for two performances of “Country & Christmas,” 7:30 p.m. Dec. 21 and 22.

The Gatlin Brothers, a Grammy and CMA Award-winning trio from Abilene, Texas have accumulated seven #1 singles, 32 top 40 records and recorded 22 studio albums since they first started touring together 65 years ago. Their family harmonies and fun-loving stage antics have landed Larry, Steve and Rudy Gatlin on some of the most iconic stages and well-known venues in the world, including Madison Square Garden, the White House, Radio City Music Hall and Carnegie Hall.

Larry Gatlin said the show is not just Christmas songs. The “Country” section includes some of the trio’s biggest hits including “Broken Lady,” “Houston (Means I’m One Day Closer to You)” and “All the Gold in California.” The Gatlin Brothers began adding songs such as “White Christmas” and “The Christmas Song” to their tours in the 1980s. “We’re kind of traditional,” said Larry Gatlin. “We like good, old-fashioned Christmas songs. So, that’s what we always do around the holidays.”

The Gatlin Brothers sold out two performances at the Webb Center during Gold Rush Days in February 2020. Rudy Gatlin said he and his brothers are looking forward to returning to Wickenburg. “We love performing in Arizona!” he exclaimed.

The “Country & Christmas” tour kicked-off in Branson, Missouri and will wrap-up with two shows at the Webb Center. This means The Gatlin Brothers have an opportunity to enjoy something else they love: golf.

“We work, and we golf,” said Larry Gatlin. “That’s what we do. If you’re going to walk, you might as well be carrying a nine iron. Sunshine, exercise, and walking. That’s golf.”

Tickets start at $50 for adults and $5 for those 18 and younger. They are available at dewpac.org or by calling the Webb Center Box Office at 928-684-6624.
