Dysart Schools congratulated Brianna Armenta from Sunset Hills Elementary School, who won the top spot in the Dysart Unified School District spelling bee this month by spelling the word “ramifications” correctly in the final round.
The district’s top five spellers will attend the Regional Spelling Bee in March.
Those top five finishers are Josemartin Padilla-Gutierrez from Kingswood Elementary, Jade Arguello from Canyon Ridge Elementary, Luis Martinez from Luke Elementary, and Sadie Morrison from Asante Prepartory.
