Posted
Dysart Unified School District honored its Class of 2020 students in celebratory -- and unique -- ways this past week.
Schools crafted individual celebrations in light of coronavirus precautions.
On May 19, Cimarron Springs Elementary School, 17032 W. Surprise Farms Loop S, hosted a drive-thru event to celebrate kindergarten students’ promotion to first grade. Eighth grade promotions around the district continued May 19 as Asante Preparatory Academy, 23251 N. 166th Drive, hosted a drive-through celebration to recognize the Class of 2024 promotes.
Celebrations continued May 20 as Marley Park Elementary School, 15042 W. Sweetwater Ave., hosted its drive-through eighth grade promotion celebration. Canyon Ridge Elementary School, 17359 W. Surprise Farms Loop N, hosted its own drive-through eighth grade promotion parade to celebrate eighth graders heading to high school.
