Dysart district to present Kindergarten Showcase events

Dysart schools will host Kindergarten Showcase events 6:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, March 3-4.

Prospective families are invited to tour the campus, meet the teachers, and learn more about the full-day kindergarten program. The Dysart kindergarten program is one of the few full-day programs in the area offered at no cost.

The Dysart kindergarten program follows Arizona state standards, and offers hands-on, real-life activities in the areas of cognitive, social, emotional and physical development. Information on before and after school program opportunities available at the event as well.

From 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, Asante Preparatory Academy, Canyon Ridge, Dysart Elementary, El Mirage, Luke, Marley Park, Riverview, Surprise Elementary, Thompson Ranch and West Point will host showcases.

Ashton Ranch, Cimarron Springs, Countryside, Freedom Traditional Academy, Kingswood, Mountain View, Rancho Gabriela, Sonoran Heights, Sunset Hills and Western Peaks will host showcases 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 4.

Parents will be able to register children at the event, or finalize enrollment if an online application has already been submitted. To finalize enrollment, parents should bring a birth certificate, immunization records and proof of residency.
