The Dysart Unified School District will showcase a new mobile production trailer that will allow the Dysart Student Broadcasting Live (DSB Live) program to expand their livestream event operations.

The showcase begins at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 28 at The Vista Center for the Arts, 15660. N Parkview Place, Surprise.

DSB Live is student-driven and student-produced, providing a hands-on, real-world experience in all aspects of broadcasting to 9-12 grade students. 215 livestream events were produced last year, in DSB Live’s inaugural year.

The DSB Live network compliments the media pathways in Dysart’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) program.

The DSB Live Showcase will include equipment demonstrations by students, samples of student performances that are frequently highlighted in livestreams, as well as a light breakfast provided by Valley Vista High School culinary students.

Quinn Kellis, Superintendent, Dysart Unified School District will be at the event. Students from Dysart, Shadow Ridge, Valley Vista and Willow Canyon high schools will showcase their work.
