Dysart COVID cases almost drop to single digits

Dysart COVID cases almost drop to single digits

In its update of the documented COVID-19 cases at its schools released Feb. 23, the Dysart Unified School District reported 13 cases.

In contrast, the district reported 19 cases Feb. 16 and 44 cases on Feb. 9.

Here are the cases as of Feb. 23:
• 6 — Valley Vista High School.
• 3 — Sunset Hills Elementary School.
• 2 — El Mirage Elementary School.
• 1 — Countryside Elementary School, Shadow Ridge and Willow Canyon high schools.

Seventeen of the district's elementary schools, Dysart High School and Sundown Mountain Alternative School did not report a single case on Feb. 23.
