Dementia Friends virtual information session coming to Surprise

Attend a free virtual Dementia Friends Information Session to learn more about dementia – what it is, what it’s like to live with it, the most common types and tips for communicating with people with dementia.

The one-hour session will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 25.

To register, email Trisha Weston at Trisha.Weston@surpiseaz.gov. You will then be sent the meeting login information.

The city of Surprise is a member of the Dementia-Friendly America network of communities and offers Dementia Friends sessions in partnership with Dementia Friends Arizona and Banner Sun Health Research Institute.
