Her husband retired from the US Postal Service in 2014. In 2015 they moved to Sun City West to be close to their son and his family. Family was her special joy. Cindy cherished every moment she had with her granddaughters. She enjoyed time together as a family renting a cabin for a week in the mountains. She loved the concerts and movies in the park. Cindy loved live music, particularly going up to Laughlin and listening to Blues music along the river.
She revived her spirituality by joining Shepherd of the Hills UMC and became active in groups and missions. Cindy met many wonderful people and made friendships extending beyond the church.
