County water building topic of Surprise neighborhood meeting

A neighborhood meeting has been scheduled regarding a zone change to allow the development of a 15,100-square-foot Maricopa Water District office building.
Applicant Pinnacle Design is asking for a zone change of 2.20 gross acres from rural residential to community commercial on a site generally located west of the intersection of Yorkshire Drive and Grand Avenue.
The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 9 at Hilton Garden Inn White Tank Meeting Room, 16601 N. Stadium Way.
