Colorado River discussion coming to Surprise City Hall

A special water conservation presentation is coming to Surprise this week.

Join Arizona Historical Society historian Jim Turner for his AZ Speaks discussion, “The Colorado River and It’s Wonders: A Study in Water Use and Conservation.”

It will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 9 in the Surprise City Hall Council Chambers, 16000 N. Civic Center Plaza.

Learn about the geology, geography, exploration, national parks and the state of the river today with its natural beauty, current difficulties and solutions.
