Association celebrates women from the northwest Valley

The American Association of University Women Northwest Valley celebrate together in Surprise.

Girlfriends and More, a special interest group where members attend events and share social times joined the celebration. 

AAUW advances gender equity for women and girls through research, education and "The American Association of University Women AAUW, is the nation's leading voice promoting equity and education for women and girls. Since its founding in 1881, AAUW members have examined and taken positions on the fundamental issues of the day-education, social, economic advocacy. 

The groups values include being nonpartisan, fact based, integrity, inclusion and intersectionality.
AAUW provides you the opportunity to join a circle of women intent upon breaking through educational and economic barriers to enable women and girls to enjoy success in the community and personal lives.

Membership is open to anyone holding an associate's degree, bachelor's or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
