Art Market coming to Surprise

Posted

Ground Floor Artists announced its annual art market, slated for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2 at 13343 W. Foxfire Drive, No. 3.

This celebration of creativity, community and gifting will feature a variety of handmade gifts, fine art, pottery and jewelry from local artists. There will also be food trucks, live music and studio tours of Ground Floor Artists' 28 resident artist studios.

“Our goal is to create a space where artists are celebrated, and patrons can find that perfect, heartfelt gift for the holidays and special occasions,” said Jessica Pierce, director of Ground Floor Artists.

In addition to live music and food trucks, there will be a Small Works exhibition with original artwork no larger than 12x12 inches. This juried exhibition will showcase the diverse talents of local artists working in a variety of mediums.

Visitors to the Art Market are also invited to take a self-guided tour of Ground Floor Artists' resident artist studios.
