Adaptive arts and crafts event coming to Surprise

Surprise is hosting an adaptive arts and crafts event in February.

It's set from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6 at Sierra Montana Recreation Center, 14861 N. Spring Lane.

This special interest class is designed for participants to work on increasing fine motor skills through entertaining activities such as arts, crafts and various fun projects.

Step-by-step instruction will be given. Attendees will leave this class with a fun piece of art and incredible memories to match!

Participants must be 5 years and older

Only registered participants will receive art supplies; Ages 5-7: parental help is required; Ages 8-21: parental help not required, but parents must remain on-site.

Family members are welcome and encouraged to join as well, but must register separately to receive art supplies.
