4 Paws Draw: Cat rescue raises $11K on Casino Night fundraiser

Posted

Sun Cities 4 Paws Rescue recently celebrated its 4th annual Casino Night and raised over $11,000, March 26, at the Sun City Country Club.

The event was disco themed and fun was had by all.

4 Paws serves the Surprise, Peoria, Sun Cities and surrounding areas.

The volunteer nonprofit is a no kill cat shelter — the only in Peoria — whose mission is to rescue cats in the West Valley and provide temporary care either in foster homes or in a permanent shelter, while facilitating their adoption.

The organization has cared for and found homes for more than 15,000 cats since opening in 1996.

Money from yearly events, sponsorships, tickets sales, and donations for raffle prizes, contribute to special programs for the cats and kittens.
