Women’s ministry creates for the community

The Disciples Women’s Ministry of Sun City Christian Church, 9745 W. Palmeras Ave., meets 9 a.m. every fourth Monday to work on projects for the community. All are welcome to join this group.
More than 150 affirmation cards have been created for the Assistance League of Phoenix, 9224 N. Fifth St. The League organizes school kits for students and a card is placed in each kit for encouragement. They have several busses with the logo “Delivering Dreams Bus,” which travels to schools with the kits and also with new clothes and shoes to outfit children in need.
