Vejraska: SCW Posses are asking residents for toys

Posted

The Sun City West Posses are always appealing to the residents for volunteers to assist in their daily duties on the streets of our community.

But today, we are asking our residents to help in our annual toy drive for the children in Aguila, Arizon. Aguila is a small community in Maricopa County approximately 60 miles northwest of Sun City West and is in an economically depressed area.

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office deputies from District 3, 13063 W. Bell Road, Surprise, who service our community, along with the Sun City West and Sun City posses always contribute in their efforts to provide holiday gifts for the children in Aguila.

So, we will be setting up our Chrismas tree in the lobby at the Sun City West Posse headquarters, 20450 W. Stardust Blvd., and hopefully we will be able to supply the children at Aguila with a truckload of toys, games, puzzles, stuffed animals and the list goes on. Any help you can provide would be appreciated by these children and us.
