Posted

The 40th annual Sun West Art Show is 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Feb. 15 and 16 at the Palm Ridge Recreation Center, 13800 Deer Valley Drive, Sun City West.

More than 100 works of art by members of the Sun West Art Club will be exhibited in this judged show, including traditional, nontraditional and experimental submission. Original pieces of art in oil, acrylics, watercolor, alcohol ink, mixed media, pastels and more will be represented in the show, and the judges will have marked awards in each category with a ribbon. Many of the pieces will be for sale.

In addition, there is a silent auction each day and all visitors will have the opportunity to vote for a favorite work of art in the People’s Choice Award category. Several artists each day will also present demonstrations of their skill.
