DanceSensations has two classes resuming in October at the Palm Ridge dance room.
Tai Chi classes with Charlie Gill start 8 a.m. Oct. 3 with Stillness in Motion on Tuesdays and Tai Chi Essentials I on Thursdays. Clogging classes with Mike McDow will be back 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays for Intermediate and 4:30 p.m. for Beginning starting Oct. 10.
These disciplines represent different forms of exercise, both beneficial for heart, lung and brain health, as well as stability, flexability and agility.
Registration forms will be available in the dance room and at scwclubs.com/dancesensations. As with all DanceSensations classes, club membership is required — $8 for the balance of the year — and they are open to residents only. Separate registration forms are available in the same places for new students in any of the other classes: Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Grace in Motion, Fundamentals of Dance, Hula, Precision, Jazzy Poms, Pilates and Breathe and Stretch.
