The Theatre West Club will perform a skit entitled “Lunch Ladies at L’Ambrosia Luncheria” Tuesday, Jan. 21 at Stardust Theatre, 14401 R.H. Johnson Blvd., Sun City West.

Doors open 12:45 p.m. The program will follow a brief business meeting.

The skit features Mirabelle and Bernice, two very proper ladies, who order lunch at an expensive restaurant only to discover that the restaurant has a “no credit cards- cash only” policy, a theatre news release states.

“What follows are scandalous lies, dishonorable accusations, shouted denials, someone getting thrown out and making a scene,” the news release continues. “After losing all pretense of ladylike behavior, they find a solution that leaves the audience laughing.”

Members and accompanied guests are invited.

Sun City West residents are encouraged to become members of the Theatre West Club for an annual membership fee of $5. All experience levels welcome. Email Bernie Meagher at Bernie_Meagher@yahoo.com.
