The Grand Drama and Comedy Club will be performing its 23rd Variety Show in mid-April.

Showtimes are at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, Thursday, April 13, Friday, April 14 and Saturday, April 15, plus 1:30 p.m. April 15 and 3 p.m. Sunday, April 16 at the Sun City Grand Sonoran Plaza Theater, 19753 N. Remington Drive.

This year’s production is called “Great Dames and the Men Who Loved Them.” It begins with a group of men vacationing in Greece, where they run into the Goddess Venus, who is filling in while Aphrodite is on vacation.

Meet lovers and friends, happy and not so happy lovers and all sorts of marriages. All this is woven into the theme with songs and by the Grandettes dancing among the costumes and scenery.

These performances regularly sell out, so tickets should be purchased

Tickets are $20 per person and can be purchased at GrandDrama.com, SunCityGrand.com or in person at the activities desk, which is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays.

Some tickets may also be available at the door 30 minutes before showtime.
