Graduates from the May 2025 U.S. Master Swimming’s Adult Learn-to-Swim Class have been announced.
Most participants in these classes begin with little or no swimming experience and graduate to a freestyle stroke for 25 yards or more. They complete essential skills such as water relaxation, proper breathing, kicking techniques and arm coordination in the heated Palm Ridge walking pool.
There are eight sessions in each class, lasting one hour, beginning with instructional guidance on the pool deck, followed by approximately 45 minutes of hands-on practice in the water.
An ALTS 2 class will be offered in September for ALTS 1 graduates, as well as another beginner class in November.
