Sun Health Resale Boutique reopens

New arrivals coming often

Posted

After being temporarily closed, the Sun Health Resale Boutique, 9843 W. Bell Road, Sun City re-opened.

Staff at the store implemented a number of procedures to keep customers, volunteers and staff safe. Summer hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays.

Purchases at the Sun Health Resale Boutique fund health and wellness projects at Sun Cities hospitals — Banner Boswell, 10401 W. Thunderbird Road, Sun City and Del E. Webb Medical Center, 14502 W. Meeker Blvd., Sun City West — and in the community through Sun Health Foundation’s Generosity for Generations campaign.

With new arrivals coming often, each visit can be a new experience. Discover a trove of treasures from vintage items, antiques and collectables to brand new, current and modern finds, sometimes with interesting stories and backgrounds. Plus, all purchases are sales-tax free.

Customers can also pick up a free Vial of Life. This vial contains the owner’s important medical information that can assist emergency personnel in administering proper medical treatment.

They can also drop off empty printer ink cartridges. They will be recycled and monies will support health care and wellness. Unused ink cartridges are also being accepted.

Another advantage to shopping resale and donating gently used items is the feeling that comes from giving back to the community to ensure the best health care services continue to be available for family, friends and neighbors.

The Sun Health Resale Shop, 14445 R.H. Johnson Blvd., Sun City West also reopened. It also has Vials of Life and accept ink cartridges. Hours are 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday-Friday. The reopening of full-time hours is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 14.

The Sun Health resale shops make it easy to shop online. Check out Sun Health Foundation’s EBAY Shop by visiting sunhealth.org/articles/foundation/shop-sun-health-resale-on-ebay-and-benefit-local-hospitals.

All Sun Health resale shops also offer volunteer opportunities.
