Three members of the Sun City West Swim Group traveled to compete in the two-day 2025 Arizona Long Course (50-meter) competition May 17-18 in Oro Valley. Long course swimming is often more challenging than short course swimming due to the distance between walls and fewer turns, which demands a more endurance-focused training approach. Their combined efforts earned first place in the mid-size group category. Notably, Beck Ettien received the High Point Award and was presented with a vibrant, red travel mug.
