The Sun City West Swim Group, part of the Sportsman’s Club, opened the USMS Masters Swimming short course season at the 33rd annual USMS Polar Bear meet Feb. 2 at the University of Arizona, Tucson. The team brought home 46 first, second and third place finishes. Additionally, team member Gynt Clifford set a new Arizona record in the 200 backstroke.
